Diagrammatic Trees

Anthonie Stilgoe has drawn up the family tree in traditional form. They consists of three diagrams:

The first and main tree begins with Zachariah Stilgoe (??-1669) and contains most of the Stilgoes who have links to Deddington and Adderbury.

A second tree shows the possible link between the London and Deddington Stilgoes

And a third tree shows an extension of the tree from Hugh (1666-1737) indicated by the notation
Extension (1) on the main tree

Vertical Trees

Another way of presenting the trees is in a vertical format by subsets numbering each generation and providing links between sets. NB: This is not fully complete or checked out yet as of January 2014. In any case of doubt the Diagrammatic Trees are the gold standard.

     1 Zachariah Stilgoe b.?? – 1669

                  4 Hugh Stilgoe 1698 - 1780
                     5 John Stilgoe 1772 - 1839
                         6 John Stilgoe 1806 - 1843

In addition, there is the separate tree of London Stilgoes possibly linked to Deddington.  These are almost certainly related to the Deddington Stilgoes, as evidenced by the common Christian names like Hugh and Zachariah if nothing else.
