"I have now discovered that I descend from the Stilgoes twice.  Well, in particular, I descend from Hugh and Ann (nee Webb) twice.  In researching the wives of my Holliers I discovered that besides Hugh and Anne’s granddaughter Ann marrying William (I) Hollier.  Their daughter Mary married, as her first husband, William Coles of Deddington.  Their granddaughter, Martha Coles, married [1742/3] William (II) Hollier, who was the son of Anne Stilgoe and the first William Hollier.  So they were second cousins."
