The Crown and Tuns was, and still is,in New Street, on the east side between Hudson Street and The Stile.  It is number 50 on the Deddington village map which was drawn up for the 1808 enclosure award.  At that time it was owned, freehold, by Henry Churchill and described as "A Homestead - the Crown and Tuns.
