In the Name of God Amen the 5th day of November 1627 I John Edmunds of Dadington in the County of Oxon Clerk
Being whole in body and of perfect memory thanks be given to God do make and ordain this my last will and
Testament
Imprimis I ordain and bequeath my soul to almighty God my maker and redeemer trusting to be pardoned
by the only merits of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ all my worldly goods I thus bestow
Item I give unto the poor of Dadington 4 shillings
Item I give unto my wife Joan Edmunds all the rest of my goods unbequeathed as well moveable or unmoveable my
funeral expenses discharged and my debts paid, whom I make my sole and only overseer of this my last will and
testament I ordain to be William ? and Hugh Davis to whom I give 1s apiece to see this my last will and testament truly
performed
